I have a 1988 Mercedes 260E. It's been having sluggish problems starting from a stop, especially when going up a hill from a stop sign. I pulled the plugs found two oiled. Replaced all plugs and today I installed new fuel injectors.
Have noticed a big improvement but not consistently. It was fine when first starting out. Then coming back from the turnpike and to a stop, it was very sluggish going up a hill.
Yet it's fine when accelerating from a high speed such as on the turnpike. Anyone had some similar happen? Could it be the fuel pump. Hope it isn't the fuel delivery system.
