hi
my fuel pump went out on my 92 sentra se ga16de i know this because when i turn the key just before it cranks i dont here the pump
i looked in my repair manual and it says the fuel pump is located on the front of the block near the engine mount well i looked all over and cant seem to locate it
i think its under the intake piping and air filter box but i want to make sure before i go taking all this apart
thanks

have you done a fuel filter within the life of the car? it should be right under the hood. easy change

could a dirty fuel filter prevent fuel from passing through preventing my car from running?

yes a dirty fuel filter restricts fuel. and it can happen i know from experience. go buy a new one they arent very exspensive. and it will be very easy to replace. i believe its on the driver side firewall just under the brake booster. two clamps and wham your done pops out of brake replace and drive away. it would be nice if that was it so good luck
