Disconnecting the 4wd

Does anyone out there know if it is possible to disconnect the 4wd system on the Primeras. I would love to go a bit faster and lose traction every once in a while. Its bloody difficult to lose traction with 4wd and some brand new 215 rubber holding you to the tarmac!
