Just got my 99(slightly modded)

Whats goin on guys, i just purchased my 5 speed 1999 maxima today....the car is pretty modded; stillen intake(just the filter), cattman2 y-pipe, catback, lowered 1 3/4 h&r and eibacks(spelling), cattman front sway bar, rear sway bar, 17 inch light weight rims, and clear corners....i know there isnt much else to do to the car that would add much more hp except for some type of forced induction(ie. turbo, supercharger, nitrous) but what do you guys suggest modify? BTW i love the feeling of the torque this car gives! Oh yea this thing handles GREAT for a front wheel drive car...

Variable intake; either a MEVI or VI from a 2000 Max. Too bad there isn't an ECU upgrade available for your year.

thanks, ill look into that...isnt that the intake manifold that gives a big power gain at a higher rpm?

Yep; it's responsible for approximately 90% of the power gains the 5th gens have over 4th gens.

yeah but its terrible for low and mid-range tq. i took mine off till i go boosted. i didn tlike not have my low end tq
