What should I do next?

I'm starting to get a wobble when I hit the brakes, so I need brakes soon. Thinking braided lines and performance pads...mabye some slotted/X-Drilled rotors later on.

-or-

I wanna upgrade the suspention. The brakes aren't too bad and I can get them fixed with stock shit for pretty cheap. I'd like to get lowering springs, thicker anti roll bars and poly bushings. This would pretty much complete my suspention upgrades cuz I already have stiff ass shocks.

Kinda torn which to do first....do the brake upgrades now cuz I need brakes anyway or just get the stock brakes back up to par and finish the suspention.

Which do you guys think?

well how much cash do you have laying around? might as well get the breaks out of the way imo, get some quality rotors pads and lines and you'll be set for a while

if your steering wheel wobbles when you press on the brakes, it is warped rotors. so you would new pads AND rotors. i say do brakes firts because with the extra movement of wobbling, it could wear other parts out faster than normal.

if i were you i would just upgrade your brakes if you plan on doint it anyways. there is no point of wasting money on stock brake units of you plan on upgrading everything.

I'm thinkin I'm gunna do the brakes. Might as well. I know it wobbles a little cuz of the brakes cuz it only happens when I hit the brakes. And just cuz the rotors are warped doesn't mean you need new ones. If they aren't in too bad of shape, they can usually be ground down so they're smooth again...this saves you the cost of buying new ones. Only problem is that I have absolutely NO money right now...none...zip...zilch...I had almost $700 in my bank account...like...3 days ago...now I have a negative amount and I don't know why/how. I have to fix that shit before I can do anything else.

Here's the ironic thing...I start my new job soon...within the course of 2 weeks, I'll have my last check from my old job (get it a week from tomorrow...maybe $200), I'll have my travel reimbursement money from going to SC (week and a day from tomorrow...week from friday, however you wanna say it...$200, I think), I'll have my first pay check from the new job (two weeks from fri...over $500) and hopefully I'll have sold my beater Celica in there somewhere, too (asking $1,000 OBO...someone comes along with ~$800 and they can have it)...I'll have damn near 2 grand in a couple weeks...but financially, life sucks nut right now...

at least you know you are getting quite a bit of money. i have $2 in my checking account and i only get ~$300 paychecks every two weeks. just today i had to write my mom a $200 check for car payments. so at least you have money on the way.
