ok i have an 94 5.7 lt1 and my passenger side exhaust manifold gets real hot and my hose keeps burning off any one know what could be wrong??

oh yeah and i forgot to add the when i take off it hesitate and sometime it takes off fine and sometime it take off shaky. Why????

If your right side exhaust manifold it getting hotter than the left, this indicates a restriction in the exhaust on that side. Sound to me like your convertor is plugged or getting plugged up on that side.....

yeah i ask around today that what alot of people said so i'm going to get a straight pipe and see if that stops it thanks.

Just a side note. On a car with two cats, I would replace both at the same time just to save the trouble. Kind of like replacing one u-joint or one rotor....
