Why would anyone need these on a taco?
cross drilling is for performance cars that do a lot of heavy braking. the drilling helps to dissapate heat and allows the pads to grip harder. Tacos are not speed machines . . .
If you just want them that is cool, but seems like a waste for a taco.

I could be wrong - just my .02.

although you are right, they are for sports cars, i put some on my truck, WOW. you can really feel the diffrence. there still gets to be break fade, but they can handle so much more than the standard

i have the cross-drill and slot rotors installed on my 2000 prerunner ext. cab. They perfrom a lot better than stock and help you get better performance from your machine, especially when towing there is no more brake failure. I installed them because my stock discs were warped and i didnt want to bother getting them fixed. I got them on ebay for about $90 a pair. they look great with painted rotors, mine are sparyed red. make sure you use engine block or rotor paint for high temperatures beacuse if not it will melt right off.

what about swapping rear drums for some discs? i think they look a lot better, but wouldn't know what the pro's and cons would be

does a swap kit from rears drums to dics even exist? if it does....BUY IT and let me know where u got it. Defenately more pros than cons....only con i can think is that ur rear brakes will probably lock instead of like drums that rarely lock.
