new ground wires?

hey just a quick question here. i know that some cars get a small boost in power and run a little smoother from installing an aftermarket engine ground wires kit. i dont know if its worth it on a 3.4 L bird though. any help? i was just wondering cause i can pick up a set for about 30 bucks right now. thanks
