i have a 94 Thunderbird LX with the 4.6 V8 and in the mornings when its cooler after i start the car and put it in gear the transmission occasionaly makes a whining or buzzing noise then if I shift it to nuetral it quits but the engine rpms jump up or sometimes go up to about 2000 then drop to 1000 and does that for about 15 seconds it has a new transmission about 10,000 miles ago if that and the fluid and filter were changed less than 1000 miles ago the car did it when i bought it in march then here the last couple of weeks when its been getting colder it startes in again. any thoughts on the problem?

Sounds you might have to much line preasure. Does the over drive light flash? Check engine light on? Sounds like the epc selenoid isn't doing its job.

no none of the lights come on but im not shure if they work like they should though, if that solenoid was bad why would it only bother on mornings under 50 degrees and not any other.
