I WAS!

My exaust sprung a leak...nothing new....because it happened once before. The turbo to manifold gasket just dosent seem to want to stay in one piece.

Well...driving back from a job site I hear a massive backfire...then loud gurgling...instead of sitting at 20vac at idle i'm at 10vac...as as I give it gas to move, same thing. Oh my shit....sr20 IS loud on open headers too....no 6.6L but still...very loud. Well, I drove the 2 blocks left to my home, and tonight I wheel it into the garage for a while. This is not bad though!

I also bought a 200sx recently, for very cheep because NO CLUTCH! Well, its being taken care of, thanks to Red (once again...thanks) and soon *hopefully tomarow* i'll have my 2L Hatchback to drive as I work on the 240. On that note I have a tublar manifold on its way, also I am going to put on Z32 brakes, carbon steel race pads, brembo drilled slotted and vented rotors...and last but not least lower it with a coil over kit.

So now I may not be able to drag...but I can drift :icon16:

yah right...me drift..... :grinno: course I will rally the shit outa it more than likley :naughty:

Nice race story you loser...... :disappoin

justkidding! :p

Nice to see you online again, you were off for a while... No worries, these things happen with modded cars. How many times has it happened in the past? And once you get it fixed, are you gonna go and humble Redneck383's Datsun? Personally, I think his ego needs to be popped..... :biggrin:

And if you do, get a passenger to record it! Im willing...

My Ego needs to be popped? wha?

What ego, I know my car was slow before. Now, that's a different story.

Explain yourself boy. :eek7:

And it's a 1987 RWD 200sx XE. With a CA20E... E stands for ENGINE!

no im sorrie red neck the e does not stand for engine it stands for something much greater then that.. so do not go pass go and do not collect $200 go straight to jail and loss some turns...

btw what does the 2 stand for i think is some kind of ignition thing..

TV don't forget that just by putting hte Z32 brakes on, you are actually making your brakes worse. i had it like that for a while. you need to change the mastercylinder as well from a Z32.

www.importnut.net

he has alot of these swaps in his site. very useful. thats what i used to change my brakemaster cylinder.

CA20E

CA= series of motor

20=displacement ie. 2L or the VQ30DETT is a 3.0L

E= engine D= doubble cam T=turbo

For the 200sx there are 3 options (for 87 anyway)

CA20E Single cam 8 spark plug ballsless motor of doom! (and awesome gas milage!) with a 105hp and 110 torque

CA18ET Single cam turbo 1.8L monster producting 118 HP and 125 Torque

and then the mighty VQ30E SIngle cam v6, pumping 126 hp and 138 Torque

WIth me and red...well, he shouldI think beat my 240, if he dosent get traction no, and if hes at 7psi no.,...other than that yes he should beat me. I'm sure we will race and it will be fun...yesss.

In the meantime....the 200 may be undergoing some.....engine work :icon16:

E doesn't stand for engine you dork... :lol:

Remember E stands for Electronic fuel injection.

Pwnded yourself again! :lol:

:icon16:

You and I race? Pff... in all the times we've had cars we've never had cars that were running at the sametime. Unless you count the first Nova and your Mustang... I don't count that race. It was so slow... terrible.

those 200SX were from the 80's and were designated the chassis code S12. TV's hatch back is a S13, and my newer gen is a S14 you get the idea. that 200sx is a uncle of mine and TV's car. it has nothing to do with the 200sx's which were B14 chassis sentras. the S12 200SX looks like a very very boxy S13 hatchback. with flip up lights.

I like it. It really does look like an AE86.

PS-There is a rebuilt... or just VERY well maintained 240z or 280z down the street from me for sale. Its orangey gold and has solid rims like you would see on an old muscle car. Im going to check it out and see how much he wants for it, but its very different from the E36 325i's im looking at so if I bought it, I have no idea what I would do with it. It sure is pretty though.
