Optima makes good ones, they just came out not too long ago with one specifically for Hondas. I'm planning on getting one when I have the cash

Welcome to AF! Just to let u know before you ask later. You have the base economy version of the crx and you also have the Mult-port fuel injection. Something most 4g civics or crx's want. It's light weight and good. Just thought I let you know!

Optima's are the best. U can tell them apart from others due to their 3 cell on each side look with either black, blue, yellow or red. Depends on what type you get. I'm def. getting one here soon too!

:iceslolan SWEET I knew there was something special with this car...lol :lol2: So Optima is a really good one, and it seems the red one is for cars, i went to the optima website I also e-mailed them about what kind of battery is ideal for a 91 CRX. Ill post up their reply if they do reply that is?

P.s. Shaguar47 thanks for the insight on my CRX

and if you don't feel like spending 100+ bucks on a battery, just go to sears and get a diehard... that way if it does die on you, you don't have to have the reciept to return it, just take it back to sears and you'll get a new one... for like 2 years i think... and what he left out is that you have 62 hp but should be able to get well over 40 mpg, however that car is great for a swap due to the fact that it is so light... and welcome to the boards

Optimas are great!! I know some have lifetime warr. on them. so if it dies or you just wanna get a new one, you can tak it to any place the sells optimas and trade it in .

you don't have to worry about an optima battery ever going bad...unless there's a freak accident or something.
