Traffic Court - Trooper Lied!

A quick story about my date in traffic court...
The trooper pulled me over on US 27 in a small, rural town in Florida. He was plain rude and obnoxious to me. He interrogated me repeatedly on my speed and what kind of car I was driving. He told me he clocked me at one speed, then put another on the ticket. He also put that I had accident on ticket. Later, I called for his supervisor and trooper called me back...was rude of course, and wanted to know why I wanted to speak with supervisor! Eventually I spoke with the supervisor, who apologized but didn't do anything to help me. I went to traffic court and the judge asked trooper many questions, including if there were any cars ahead of him when he clocked me. There was, and the trooper had been tailgating that car. Even before he pulled me over, I thought to myself, that cop's gonna run over that car if it stops fast. Trooper lied through his teeth...he didn't miss a beat. He told judge that NO cars were on the road in front of him. Judge believed trooper...withheld points from my license because of the confusion over the accident but I have to pay the fine. Isn't that a shame? This trooper could be an actor. He sure put on a show. He's also known in the community for being corrupt and taking things in return for a break.

not surprising. i got screwed over a few months ago because the cop lied on the police report. people never get why people run from the cops for no reason, but then shit like that happens

Some student in Liverpool England was recently stitched up by the police. They said he was going 120mph in a standard fiat punto. He argued with them and even tried to prove it. The police ignored him but when it went to court the case was thrown out. Just goes to show that Justice does sometimes prevail... sometimes.

It's good that sometimes justice is served. I wish it had been in my case. Most everyone was very surprised that I lost. But, I would have won had he not lied about the car in front of him. He knew his case was going downhill when the judge asked him that question...so he looked him in the face and lied. I agree that guys like this cause other law enforcement officers to have a "bad" reputation with the public. Hopefully, this guy that stopped me will someday get caught lying and have to face up to his actions. I would love to hear about him lying in court and getting caught...that would be poetic justice! Good day, everyone!

I remember that! There was an article, and he actually had the university he was attending do a scientific study on the car, and as it turns out, the crappy engine combined with insane aero-drag made the car unable to do over 90mph or something. Crazy shizzz man

I also had an experience like this, i got in a wreck but when i went to court, every one there even the person i hit said yes the roads were very slick, and the county cop lied and said that they were not slick, haha what a puts, i got off none the less, thanks to the state putting somthing on the road that was supposed to be used for snow not rain. Even the guy from the state office said that it was the wrong time to use it. but they thought it was gonna snow, but it didn't.

follow him, video tape him, speak to the people he pulls over, offer the tape they can us as evidance against him, make a copy, send it to his supervisor and on up, just make sure he does know it is you, may be mental enough to take it out on you

cops suck. i was driving my brother's 2001 cavalier(oh yea big sports car) and this freaking cop was about 3 inches from my bumper. and followed me for about 15 minutes. i even made some rediculous turns (going in circle's) but he just stayed on my ass. then i turned into jiffy lube to get my oil change, and then he just drove right by. i wasn't doing anything illigal that would have made him want to follow me. any way MOST cops just suck.

Next time the cop is that close, pull the E-brake as hard as you can. It will not turn on the brake lights and give even more reason to like you. Also what is the ginnues record for tickets?

they have cameras in their cars, the video will show that your brake lights arent working so you will have to pay for your car and the cops car! Next time a cop is riding your ass and you happen to see something like a dog or anything on the side of the road that could possibly run out in front of you slam on the brakes. Im talking about a complete stop, then you could say the dog was about to jump out in front of you. Then you might have a fighting chance.

But seriously everyone knows that cops are full of shit. I have had cops come up to me after work and tell me and my managers to leave because they didnt want a bunch of racers meeting up. In the parking lot where we work! So we did the smart thing, we each did a smokey burnout in the private parking lot, one of my managers did some awd donuts then we all drove off at a normal speed. Pissed the cop off beyond belief, he followed the one who did the donuts all the way home trying to find a reason to pull him over.

Also what is the ginnues record for tickets?Do you think anyone can't tell a vehicle is slowing because the stupid glaring brake lights aren't coming on?.§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§REFUSE TO LOSE§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§
