Should I run the SAFC2?

I have the RC 550cc Fuel Injectors and the Walbro 190 Fuel Pump. Do you guys think its neccesary to run the Safc2 or not?

I thought that anytime you added larger injectors you needed some type of fuel management.

It might idle and run, but you need to correct for the larger injectors for sure. The ECU might be smart enough to lean way out if it detects that much fuel, but it's no way to run.

550s will be a 18% change over stock (450/550)-1 The ECU has 12.5% range on LTFTs, and either 12 or 16% range on STFTs. So it will compensate for idle and cruise but its not the right way to run a car. And at wide open throttle you will be 18% too rich, like 7:1 rich. Good luck getting the motor to stay running! Long story short, you always have to compensate for larger injectors with these cars, and the SAFC is a great way to do it. You will also need a datalogger to get trims centered again.
