Strange Sound on startup

I have a 94 3.4L v6 and recently it began making a weird clicking noise sometimes when I turn the key to the on position. The noise sounds like it is coming from the passenger side of the engine compartment and I don't know what is making it. Usually it only happens if the car has been parked for a while, like maybe 6 hours or more. The noise also seems to happen once when the ABS light comes on and then again when it goes off, the light has never stayed on though. I also believe that the noise started when I put in new brakes. So if anybody has any ideas on what could be making this sound I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Thanks

my only guess (and i'm kinda pulling this out of my ass) since its when you put the key in the "on" position and its on the lower passenger side, i think it may be your fuel pump, but i can't come up w/ and explanation for why it might be involving the brakes...

No, I don't think it is the fuel pump, cause I can still hear the buzzing of the fuel pump, plus it is coming from inside the engine compartment, I was thinking like a relay or something but those are on the other side. The only things electronic on the pass. side are the computer and the battery, that's why I'm stumped.
By the way ShoX8517 thanks so much for your help, I appreciate it, ASS.

surely you didn't actually think that people would come into your thread and ONLY post replies to what you asked, :loser: I mean damn, should he make a new thread just to ask when he is going to paint his camaro? :screwy:

actually, if we were to strictly adhere to the rules, that should have been a PM or he should have atleast referenced the thread topic in a post.
on to business, does the noise occur at any other time, like when you push in the brake or anything? also, what did you do with your brakes, just new pads or new calipers, what?

All I did to the brakes was new front pads and new caliper bolts/slides and the sound only happens when I turn the key to the on position, and only sometimes like I said. It's just two loud clicks, one when the ABS light comes on and one when iit goes off. However, I also noticed that after it does it, when I do start the car, the ABS light comes back on and turns back off and the sound is not there. That is why I am completely stumped cause it only happens SOMETIMES. BTW, I realize this doesn't seem like a big problem but I would rather deal with a little problem before it becomes a big one, thanks for your help.
I would also like to add that the only reason I said that before is because I hate it when someone starts a serious thread because the need help or something and people turn it into a chatroom. Don't they realize that we have a camaro chatroom specifically for that???

I just found out it isn't neccesarily on the passenger side, my friend listened to it and said he thinks it may be coming from the driver's side, has anyone ever heard of relays or anything else making noises like that? Like possibly an ABS relay or something?

prolly a relay, i dont think its bad, could be getting there. might want to try and go through and see if you can locate it better. get a long piece of hose and hold one end to your ear and the other against a suspect relay. if it makes the noise you can replace it and see if that solves the problem...

There is an ABS relay I beleive and like a 8 second self test everytime the key is turned on.
