With our legal system, anything is possible. But the maximum sentence for vehicular homicide in Georgia is 15 years, so he'll definitely be partying again at some point. Unfortunately. They should execute him the same way his friend was killed.

In your example the friend did not push the guy off the roof, so no, he wouldn't be the cause of the accident, but in the topic at hand, the guy did wrong by driving while drunk, thus causing the friend to get killed. The guy is guilty period. Whether the verdict is execution or not it should be to prevent any further damage to society. If the jerk gets freed now or in the future I am sure he will drive while drunk again and possibly kill another person.

i dont think the driver deserves vehicular homicide. but he does deserve involuntary manslaughter.

he lost a friend and im sure he is really hating himself and the jury will see that. at most he will get 5yrs
