ok here goes. i was wondering if anybody had a picture guide on how to istall a home made vtec light on a 99 civic ex? nay help is appreciated, i already had a spare speedometer pod thing from a friend screwing up my guages putting white faces on them( broke the needles). it wasnt worth it the guages stopped working after 4 days p.o.s. guages.

the cruise control went out on my car and i bought a new madulator, is there anything specific i need to do to install this correctly besides doing what i usually do and look at stuff and figure it out in my melon.

also would anybody like to buy some parts? i got some parts lying around i want to get rid of. email me if you want a list. i know im forgetting something but ill think of it tomorrow. l8r

i forgot to list why i mentioned the extra guage cluster. i have some of the factory lights off it so i was wondering if i can use one of these extra lights to wire in a vtec light.

The vtec light:
Use the green/yellow stripe wire coming off the ecu as + by "T"ing a wire into it, run it to an LED, and ground the other side of the led via a wire connected to the chassis (you can wrap it underneath a bolt screwed into something metal beneath the dash if you wanna be ghetto, but it works).

An old buddy did his pretty slick by going to Kinko's and getting "vtec" printed on clear plastic paper. He cut that out and put it in place of one of the unused gauge lights and rigged the wires to the red light behind it. When he hit vtec it looked like something Honda would have installed :)
