motor mounts

My 97 sebring was in accident before i bought it and i didnt know it. Well the motor mounts are bad and now theres a problem with the tranny. It wont shift right and theres a ticking in the bottom of the engine every 5 seconds. When i go to stop it shifts into first really hard and jerks the whole car. Any ideas anyone?
