engine quits while driving

on a recent trip to mesa arizona the engine shuts off.no warning lights I turn the key and it starts right back up and goes for another couple miles or so and quits again I have gone about 150 miles around town and it hasn't happened again mesa was hot 108 and I had the air on temp gage was normal. below half
