I have an 1990 Olds Delta 88. The Ac was working just fine (after filling it with refriderant) and 3 months later the fan started to slowly blow fst - and - slow instead on the normal speed. And today it stopped working. I think it might be a Relay...but i dont know where to find them. (If that is the problem). Does anyone have any good advice??

check the blower module. It functions as the resistor for the auto climate control. It is square shaped and should be close to the blower motor.

Thnks for the reply...but:
no...its totally dead now. I am wondering if there is anything else it could be... I checked the fuses, and the relays - they are both good. Is there anything eles that could cause the blower to stop working in the manner described above besides the motor being faulty? If not...where is the motor located? (im thinking about replcing it) - but i dont know where to start.

If it is like a 95,it's located directly behind the engine ,on the firewall in the middle of the car.

Did you check that blower module as the other post said?

You may want to flush out your evaporator. It's fairly common for these cars to pick up soot from the road and clog up the evaporator. This would cause air velocity to decrease and I imagine it could burn out the blower motor of the passage is blocked.

My olda AC works but only comes outta the top and bottom vents. Nothing comes out of the middle ones. Ever. Not when i turn and mess with the controls nothing comes out. It used to.
