Well I just bought my first car(honda accord 1994) and really don't know too much about cars in general. I want to buy a body kit, but don't know where to start exactly. I've checked a few sites and seen a couple i was interested in, but once i get it i really have no idea how to put it on. I was guessing I would have to take it to a shop and have them drill the holes and ect... does anyone know what the prices go around for having this all done at a shop? and having my car primered and repainted. So I'm pretty much asking how much it will cost me to get everything done once i get the bodykit in my possesion. Any feedback would be appreaciated.

I HAVE THE SAME CAR, FOR THE BODYKIT I WENT TO AEROTRENDS.COM I GOT THE BLACK WIDOW BODY KIT FOR 460 SHIPPED TO BROOKLYN. CALL THE NUMBER, ITS CHEAPER IF YOU TALK TO THEM, AND I PAID ABOUT 1700.00 TO GET IT PUT ON, AND TO REPAINT THE WHOLE CAR, BUT THATS IN BROOKLYN.yOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE YOU TAKE YOUR CAR TO A PLACE THAT HAS DONE THIS TYPE OF WORK, BECAUSE THE END RESULT IS BETTER. IT COST MORE BUT ITS WORTH IT.

Yes take it to bodyshop that does bodykits!! I took my 2000 Accord to a regular bodyshop and they really did a very poor job on it.
They used the wrong paint, the paint surface cracked few weeks after, and they didn't secure the bodykit tight enouf, now is all loose...

What pissed me off the most was they took out my front metal bumper bar in order to make the bodykit fit without telling me... Now my car is unsafe to drive.

I also recommend to coat your kit with 3M special coating to provent paint from chipping, only few bodyshop that has that 3M coating option though.

my high recomendation is to avoid them. Truthfully, they break, they crack, they rattle, they add a lot of negative attention, they are not quite as safe as stock bumpers and such. I mean, I know they look cool....but in reality, believe me.....I've had them, and they're a lot more trouble than they are worth...plus they are very expensive.

I personally think the 94-97 Accord looks great, without a kit. I think you should spend your money on other modifications - like performance modifications :)
