ok guys, what is your definition of a RICER.

i know my definition, so whats yalls....

Anyone who puts stickers on thier car for things they dont have. "Got NOS"

looks take precedence over performance. ie: a car with the body kit, paint, wing, stickers, interior...... but a stock motor with maybe only a 50 shot patched on.

also, it pisses the shit out of me when some idiot calls nitrous "NAWWSS" it's nitrous, juice, laughy gas etc., you idiot. (i haven't slept for a week because of a project, can ya tell?)

A ricer to me is any asian kid who has stickers and flase readings all over a crappy Japanese import that was set up with Daddy's money.

i agree with this part, but i dont think driving a car your parents bought makes u a ricer. nor do u have to be asian. and it doesnt even have to be an import. to me a ricer is someone who advertises but cant back it up, u know, all show no go. i know a guy here who has an old mustang, and he repainted it with the "mach 1" on the side, but its not a mach 1 its just a plain old slow ass mustang. his car is a ricer to me, even though its an old american musclecar and a big white guy drives it.

Kero Kero Keropi figures on his dash and lotsa air fresheners. dont forget the type-r stickers on the EX, DX, etc.

hmmm. lets see, anyone who has a car with more stickers than hp, a wing tall enough that it sticks up higher than the roof (except if it's an old Superbird 'cause they came that way :) ) an exhaust tip that's big enough to suck in low flying birds:D and any car domestic or import that has one or more of the above on it and is damn near bone stock but the driver talks crap like hes driving some thing that can beat a pro stock car.

I think the Jan 2002 issue of Car Craft said it best with "the guy who shows up at the friday night test and tune, talks smack but never runs his car, and tears around the parking lot smoking the tires and endangering our safety"

i also believe car craft said it best, Firebird, to me a ricer is any import, that is some how "tricked out", meaning, more flash than actual performance, or if it is done up as a complete show car, maybe if they actually had some balls they would want to race stoplight to stoplight and win, My little brother has an import that i've been working on for the last 2 weeks solid, getting the motor back together, it is by definition not a ricer, mainly because there is no graphics or loud paint, the only thing that is loud is the turbo spooling through the 3 inch exhaust, it looks bone stock and is even front wheel drive, but even though i am a domestic car nut i can say that i built this car with pride, maybe if those import drivers out there went for the "sleeper" look meaning looks stock hauls ass. spending money on speed parts and not paint jobs or mufflers, there would be no "ricers" out there. only fast cars, and no loud brite speed bumps.

i don't know what the definition is i always liked this

and it applies to some of the shitty mustangs i"ve seen to with JEGS and cobra and saleen when nothing of that type is on it and edelbrock

and i hate those old trucks that have nice engines yet are rusty and shitty to look at i think if you"re gonna include all imports you can include all domestics for looking stupid too


and i also seen domestics with home made hood scoops with custom pos logos on it too so don't tell me that imports are the only ones who have that shit

To me, if you car has stickers 4 shit you don't even got like a typeR sticker on a metro or "my other ride is my wife" shit. Your a ricer.

if your car doesnt even run in the 13's and u race it and talk about how its so fast, ur a ricer.

same goes for any car that looks like a race car (wheels, racing seats, body kits, wings) and the only engine mods are plug wires and a coffe can exhaust tip

hmmmmm 13's is a pretty high number. alot of people can't run 13's. or can barely make it in the 13's. think about it. mustang gt's. high 13's to low 14's. WRX high 13's, low 14's. S15 silvia 250hp turbo charged engine. barely in the 13's.

oh yeah might i add RX-7 FS3S. 13's, VR4 13's, supra mark IV TT 13's. 300ZX TT, 14's. you seee? and those are japanese super cars with about 300hp.

hey what about trans ams (mid 13's) or a Z06 vette running 12.8 stock. :D well I don't know if you were talking mid priced cars if so drop the vette if not then how about the viper they run high to mid 11's stock.:)

well i wasn't sure of hte camaro or trans am's times because i've heard that it ranges anywhere from low 13's to 12's. and that they got time slips to prove it. sooo since camaro's does high 12's. the Z06 can actually do low 12's. and the new ones with 405hp can do high 11's.

Ricer, Riceboy, Its not so much a person, but a mentality and a lack of knowledge. The lack of knowledge of what the hell to do to your car to make it quicker, the lack of knowledge of what car to get if your going to mod it. Such as Mitsi Eclipse GSs with Gran Touring wing, exhausts with 4 inch tip and stock pipes with a veilside body kit. Why not get a Talon TSi, and spend the money from the wing and kit, buy yourself a boost controler, pod filter and start saving for an exhaust??? (Just thought I'd use the Talon for the second example 'cause I used the Eclipse in the first...)

The mentality is the 15 stickers on your car when you only have 1 of the products... AND your car's an automatic. But you would still roll up next to a R34 GTR and rev your shit up at it... The type of person who goes to autoX events and won't race 'cause "mah shit iz in drag setup" then they go to the drags and brag about kicking ass at autocross...

By definition a ricer/rice is any asian vehicle or even sometimes a motorcyle...

the definition has been changed to anything that is too flashy or a vehicle that precedes show over performance... but it can be any type of vehicle domestic or import...

People who drive Corolla's, Lancer Station wagons and 323 Wagons with a pipe the size of a common dinner plate, a body kit and Mag wheels with the usual interior mods.

It doesn't nessicarily piss me off that these guys wanna make thier cars LOOK better (Except fart-pipes that pure and simple piss me off) but those who think all that shit makes thier car faster when it actually makes it slower due to the added wieght

haha... like this guy i see around with an integra gsr, he acts like he knows everything about cars, but once asked me "what is a header, and how does it help my car?" then after having it explained to him he goes around bragging "im getting a header then ill whoop everyones asses". he can also be heard, while watching the street races, saying "he granny shiftin not double clutchin like he should" which is an EXACT quote from fast and the furious.

the funniest thing about him, no matter how many times i beat him, about a week later he'll start talkin shit again sayin how "yeah i got something for ya next time" but then we race again and i beat him as bad as always, he never learns i swear!
