loud tires?

i have a 02 gt with 29K. haad it about 2 months, car is beyond showroom condition
it has the goodyear eagle tires that came stock on it. they still have plenty of tread and look good. but they are the noisy tires i've ever owned. does anyone else notice this? they are noisy as hell about 25 to 40 mph. then quiet up. first i thaught it was something rubbing or the tranny, but the noise stays the same when the tranny shifts, and nothing is close enough to rub. i test drove a 03 gtp and didnt notice it as loud but it was there. so if any one can tell me if this is normal or i should look into it further i'd appreiciate it.

run your hand forward and back on the tire tread and see if you have some sculpting on the tires. As tires get some mileage on them, and if they haven't been rotated properly, they will develop uneven wear patterns like scoops that can make them noisy as all get out. The noise will quiet down as speed increases due to the natural deformation of the tire from centrifugal force

ok thanks, will this hurt anything? i just rotated them the back tires had more tread so now there in front, and it does sound different but its still loud. they looked like they've never been rotated before.

it won't hurt anything, it's just irritating. Crank the stereo until you have the money to replace the tires, then make sure you rotate them properly.
