Jetta Battery Replacement '02

Howdy,
I need help removing the battery in an '02 Jetta. I can get the cover and terminals off. Do I have to unbolt the tray the battery is sitting on? Which bolts? There is one in the front and I think one jammed in on the right side of the tray. Also, anyone know what size they are?
It is for my friends Jetta which is sitting on the dealers lot right now. I didn't have a socket extension at the time and the dealership was closing so I couldn't stay.
Any help would be MUCH appreciated!
