Hey guys, for those of you that dont know, I had a car accident about a week ago, to put it simply, a truck swiped me :( considering my car was only about 1 1/2 weeks old it is pretty annoying. All I can say is that Truck drivers suck!!

So far there is around $8,000 damage, although they say that this figure will more than likely change. I should get my car back in a couple of weeks :) I am going crazy without a car.

I am also moving house tomorrow... Am sick of living with the parents... about time to move on I think. I have been back home now for the past 2 years and I am sure my parents are sending me around the twist..

Its all fun and games for me at the moment

I am not sure how much damage there has to be but obviously $8,000 isnt enough to write it off :(

I spoke to the smash repair place today and they still havent got the ok from my insurance, so they havent started.... bloody insurance people, they are hopeless....

Now all I have to do is wait for the car to be fixed although they say 14 days (should be from monday), I am sure it will take longer. I have been using my sisters car so that hasnt been too bad, she works during the day so I just have to drop her off and pick her up and then the car is mine.

I started the big move today... all I moved today was my clothes and shoes, took me all day... (I guess you could say that I have a lot of clothes). On monday my furniture gets delivered... Is such a great feeling to be moving out. :flash:

All day just to move clothes? Whoa. Last time I moved I think it took about 40 minutes to pack mine (does throwing clothes into garbage bags count as packing?) :)

Write off is probably the better option coz it'll neva be the same after they fix it...my friend had a car accident...i think it was a bit ova 8000...and had to go back to the place 8 times to get it right...the bonnet wasnt in probably...the boot was stuffed...everything was stuffed...but ok now....another friend of mine got hit...had to go back a few times...and coz of the accident...his transmission is stuffed...tried to claim it...NRMA said it wasnt the accidnet's fault....i hate insurance companies.

I have moved now, and settled in very nicely.... by the way, I did just throw all my clothes into garbage bags so it wasnt as if I spent all day neatly folding and packing, I packed the night before, the whole day was actually moving the many garbage bags of clothes I packed :)

They started fixing my car this week :) I will just have to wait and see who it is when it is finished. I am not keen on having a car that has been in an accident no matter how well it is repaired but will have to see how the money situation goes before I decide to sell and buy another car..

lol - that looks so like my ex's cupboard it isn't funny :D

Heh - I had to buy an extra set of shoes because my year 12s last year were constantly on my back over my dress sense... or lack thereof.

Iended up spending a couple of hundred on new work shirts, trousers, shoes etc and even then I got told off for not updating my belt... what's wrong with a belt I bought in the '80s anyway? :D

I know a few girls who are into the modifying scene. One built a 4G Civic with ZC and then painted it black and dropped mags on it about 8 years ago. Then the travel bug bit and she sold it and headed off overseas.
