I have a 1993 PA and was fine until a few days ago. I went to start it but it cranks and wont start. I had a local garage look at it and they said there is no fuel or spark present and said that it must be related to the security system. I talked to the service tech at a local buick dealership and he said that the fuel and the sparking system are probably both faulty. I dont buy that for a second. The PA has the factory security system with the pass key. Is there any way to diable the security system?

Its probably a bad ECM ( computer )... If its bad nothing will work.

I had a problem nearly klike yours, except that mine was intermittent. I could be running fine and suddenly it would just stop. After much troubleshooting and cussing it turned out to be the crankshaft position sensor. In the process of trying to figure out I found that it COULD have been either the coil/ignition module, CS sensor, the camshaft position sensor or the ECM as mentioned in an earlier post. (These were the big four, of course it could be many other things as well). I started with the easiest to replace, the ignition module, and went up from there. I got lucky on the IM and found a known good one for free. I think the CS sensor cost me about $40.00 and took me about a half a day to replce it. All has been flawless since then.
