Stolen Valet Key

I recently had my valet key stolen. Spoke with dealer, and they want more than $2K to rekey vehicle. I'm looking for options to keep the person with the valet key from keying in. I thought I could get an aftermarket alarm installed, so I did, but unlocking the doors with a key deactivates it. If I had a wiring diagram I might be able to figure something out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

catch the thief, or pay the 2k unless you want your whole car stolen, eventually

Well, while I would love to catch the thief, it was probably some neighborhood kids, and it'll never happen. As far as paying 2K to rekey it, I'd go trade the car in before I did that.
A little new information, I got a hold of the alarm install manual, and I see that it has a disarm defeat wire that is connected to the door unlock button on the door, to keep someone from pushing the button with a coat hanger and disarming it. If anyone knows how the locks are setup, maybe I could connect this disarm defeat wire to the lock wire that normally disarms the system, then keying in would not disarm alarm, you'd have to use the remote.
