So one of my friends killed himself over the weekend

And I feel like shit.

It makes sense now, the signs were there, and I feel like there was so much I could have done, but didn't. What might happen didnt even cross my mind. Fuck.

Oh man ive been there so many times, 4 times and im only 19 :disappoin The problem is you cant really tell what is going to happen until they have happened. Every single time thats happened to me Ive felt the exact same way. Just remember you didnt make him do it, he did it himself. It's not your fault, and you shouldn't feel guilty. It's a horrible feeling regardless, but it's good and healthy to talk about it and let your feelings be heard. If you need to talk, you know we are all here for you.

I've talked about my views on suicide a few times in the forum and I won't bring them up for now. You do not take any blame for what he did. Though we can see warning signs, there is only so much that can realistically be done. Its sad that you've lost a friend this way and I hope you can be strong for his family.

You have my sympathy :( I don't know what it's like to lose a friend, but I do know you shouldn't blame your self. Or anyone.

I know what its like. I have lost many friends to suicide and to other causes and I know what it feels like. You have my deepest sympathy. If you need to talk, I'm here for you.

Yeah I have been there. It sucks because you think you should have seen the signs, after the fact they seem so clear. It's 20/20 hindsight. Take care man.
