Tamiya clear spray over Tamiya Matt spray?

Has anyone tried this? Does it work OK, or is there problems with matt and gloss paints over each other?

Provided they are the same types, you shouldn't have any problems.
Military modellers do this all the time.

Expect the matt to gloss up. If that's what U want, U won't have any problems.

Yeah that's what i want. I'm running out of gloss black, but have plenty of matt black and clear lacquer. Thanks.

I hate to barge in but...why the heck are you using Tamiya clear. IMO the stuff sucks. I just use regular automotive clears, cheaper and u get more...thats just me.

Well thansk for that. Where i live it is the easiest option. Also in the past i have used automotive paints to spray models and the paint chips quite easily.
