She spent $2000 on what???

My wife of 11 years is a terrific person; intellegent, and very capable.

Sure, she is sensible and reasonably frugal, most of the time.
BUT last week she spent $2000 on BRASSIERES... :mad:

Yes, $2000 on underwear.

She doesn't seem to think there is anything wrong with this.

She is quite well endowed, in a mammary way :)

However, she has never been able to find bras that are comfortable. She went for a custom fitting and it turns out her size 38E (woo hoo!!) :naughty: is not commonly made. So she picked up some really comfortable bras made to fit her size.

This is great, except that she had to get 3 different styles in 3 different colours plus some extras, totalling about 24 bras at close to $100 a pop, for a grand total of $2000!!! :eek7:

I know what you're going through. I've been to EVERY single place that sells bras and cannot find anything that fits right. The only place that I can find them at is Victoria's Secret because their bra sizes run big. Another thing that works good is to wear a bra, then wear a tank top with the built in support thing. They dont move with those two things.

i agree with all the girls posts in this thread, us "gifted" ladies cannot find decent fitting/looking bras.
Just like Emily said....they dont even make attractive nursing bra's. Even thought Taranaki pointed out so graciously that nursing mom's are sexy in their own way, as nursing is a beautiful thing. However........sometimes we don't feel sexy after we have a baby. I know I didn't for a while, but got over it. Sometimes something as simple as a pretty matching set of bra and panties will give us a little boost in self-esteem. As stupid as that may sound.
