Hey anyone here owns one of these models? Im thinking about buying the 1/24 mazdaspeed rx-7, but around $30 for a 1/24 is pritty expensive for me, but I still might get it. Just wanna know if the details and quality any good?

They are awesome. I have the Apex rx-7 and the JUN 350z. Both are very cool .....height and camber adjustable. The rx7 comes with bride seats, volks wing and all...the 350z has advans, recaro seats and the works also...very cool items..got mine off of ebay and iloveracing.com.

Hey,
I have the Option Fairlady Z, but I gather it is built alot like the rx-7. Ther interior is very detailed, but came with a left hand drive dash, which as odd because I thought the Option car had a lhd dash. The hood opens and there is an alternate hood and other body parts and optional rims also. It has an optional engine that looks very good and detailed for how they are.(the engine is like the Maisto 1/24th scale models, just the top piece). No other parts open besides the hood. You can adjust the camber and ride height. The models look very good though. I placed it next to my Tamiya model and they look almost exactly the same. Feel free to ask anything else if I didn't answer what you were expecting. Frank X.

Thanks for the reply's. Thats good to hear that you place it next to those top notch tamiya models because Im thinking about buying it and leaving the exterior stock and wingless, and put it on an 1/24 display case with my plastic models. Just wondering tough, out of box is it already loward? From the pics I seen in the box, it sits pritty qrite low. And is it possible to swap rims wit fujimi models? Thanks.

Hey,
The wheels are odd. I think they only go with the other hotworks cars and I don't think the cars would take other rims. The suspension is adjustable. You can lower it if you want to. No real modification work. There is a knob, somewhat, under the chassis that you turn it with a screw driver and that changes the height and camber. Oh, I forgot to mention, most of the body is done up in tampos(factory applied kind of decals)on the Option Z, and soem where stickers. I'm not sure how the mazda is tho. I would definately reccomend this model to you tho. I really like this company and hope they make more great models.

lol, I got my rx-7 2 days ago already. The model is great! detail and everything! only thing that keeps it from flawless detail is that the rear taillight of the rx-7 is just painted black. It should of been translucent black with amber and red lights. But its still very nice. The undercarrarage also lack details, but that dosnt matter. And my aoshima rims are swapable, just need to sacrafice the movement of the wheels, and minor mods. All in all good diecast!
