This is my latest project its a revell civic hatch. Got the Sas kit, thanks to chris, not many mods but i plan a couple. Probably a scratchbuilt intercooler, tuner decals, maybe some sas seats, don't know which ones though i think im going to go with the recaro ones. Fine Mesh in the front and maybe different wheels. Some input will be appreciated, also first time doing cf decals so be easy on me. Progress will be slow do to me not having time and $$$$$$ due to me buying a car cause my other one got stolen. Aliright sorry for going on, some progress pics:

Engine bay with no engine (engine almost done)

Got a 04 VW 1.8t GTI, i'm still waiting for it, can't wait. I'm financing it for a couple years. Plan on modding the hell out of it.
A little progress update, i got some of the engine complete, more detail to the intake manifold and fans are on their way. The head is next.

I personaly like the number 15 spoke ones. They look pretty tight. But i also like the 5 spoke ones on the last picture. It all depends on what color the rims are gonna be. What color r u thinking?

These rims looks the best in my opinion http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/224747Civintegra_1.jpg

I'd say the 5 Spoke one and the BBS looking one. Those two are reallly nice. Where did you get those?

hondaaccordboy21

Im pretty sure it comes with the kit. Because i have the regular honda civic and the integra and they look like the ones they gave me.

Very cool. But why make an intercooler if there will be no turbo? The green is going to go very swell with the sas kit imo.

Alright a little update for all you kiddies, nothing big but at least its something. The engine bay is almost done. Next thing is the body, but i need some primer.
http://img2.exs.cx/img2/8739/pers050.jpg

Shaved the door handles, license plate hole. Painted the sas hood, didn't like the results, so it'll be stripped painted again.

Minor update: Shaved the door handles and the license plate indent. The thing is i used squadron putty and its the worst leaving small holes once it dries. Other thing not to do is strip primer with brake fluid when you have putty on it. Damn it, oh well so its primed and has to be sanded done a bit, once done 2 more coats of primer and then paint finallly. Enjoy

okay got back to this project after many disasters. First i used the wrong primer so i decided to strip it with brake fluid, stripped the paint good but messed up the putty also so i had to redo it. Also had problems with squadron putty because it leave small holes which have to be refilled. Next time i'm going with magic sculp!! Alright well layed a couple fine coats with TS-52 candy lime green!! Little sanding and the final coats will be done tomorrow.

Hi! I saw U posted that U had the body stripped off paint with brakefluid. I know it works but it's a little heavy for plastic. I use Johnson's Home Plumber (the one U use on clogged pipes and it's blue liquid in an orange canister). It doesn't melt the plastic as the brakefluid does , but that's just my :2cents:
Sorry for the typos, I migth be a little intoxicated so my spelling isn't at it's sharpest... Nice kit, how was the quality of the SAS bodykit?

thanks for the input, maybe i'll try that since i had some other problems with this kit, so its a long hold but hopefully will finish it in the next month, the SAS kit is great, perfect fit and good quality just a little sanding ecpecially under the hood, but i mean Fly can't do everything for us.

Little more progress, believe it or not but i had to strip the paint again, but finally coated it with some tamiya candy lime green and got some good results, as you can see the doors and trunk have been shavedengine needs some wiring and a strut bar, the interior is next. Comments please!
