Hmmm, it should since all mods for a 2g dsm go back to the 1g dsm motor parts, so i would definatly try the cyclone intake, but dont kill me if im worng.....

you will need the computer to run the cyclone intake manifold... plus it wont match up with the 2nd gen head, if your planning on doing a intake manifold swap you're goin to need the 1st gen head to! if you put the intake manifold on the 2nd gen head you wont see any more power, maybe even less... now if you get a 1st gen head and intake manifold you will see a nice upgrade in power... check out this pic... 2nd gen head, 1st gen intake gasket. thats the size difference in the ports.
everything lines up the same, just different size ports...

then why did you ask if you knew!
its not worth having to get the computer for it compared to just getting a 1st gen manifold and using that... you wont see much, if any more hp between the cyclone and the 1st gen mani! but the change from the 2nd gen intake manifold to the 1st gen intake manifold is a big change in flow!
