Exhaust manifold question

After recently putting a 1981 Camaro Z28 motor into my 86 Cutlass, I was left with quite a problem. The passanger side exhaust manifold was damaged. Now it's unusable, so I have to go elsewhere to finish the job. My question is, would a manifold from a 1986 Suburban work? Both motors are a 350, but I noticed the Suburban's motor has tubes and stuff for emissions. How would I go about plugging those holes and such in the manifold? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The pollution tubes should be a regular compression type line fitting, like the kind used in transmission cooler lines. Go to a hardware store or auto parts place and scrounge for some pipe thread plugs of the right size that will screw in. Often radiators and engine blocks will use these plugs.
Otherwise, get out the oxy-acetylene torch and braze them closed. A muffler shop should be able to do this for you.
Pretty much all SBC manifolds will bolt on, but take a good look at where the exhaust exits and make sure there is clearance for the exhaust pipe.

Bah, it's too rusted on to get off. I think I'll just have to save up and get some headers....
