vibration in steering wheel

when i hit my brakes my steering wheel vibrates from 40-30 mph what is causeing this? it also vibrates from 70-80 mph when accelerating..

sometimes if your rotors are warped and you hit the brakes it will cause the steering wheel to vibrate.

My integra does the same thing. I took it to a mechanic and he said my wheel alignment was off slightly and that's whats causing that.

sleeper97 is right. if your alignment is off it will do it without applying the brakes. so if it does it when you apply the brakes your rotors are warped. this is caused from stopping very fast and hard.

i would have to agree with everyone else. I have had the same problemw it driving many cars with slight alignment problems.

might be that your wheel balance is off too.
