all intakes will work about the same. if your goin to use a hot air intake, from different makes you will not even feel the difference because its soo small. however if you have a injen cold air intake. then you'll probrably feel a slight increase in power. i mean it is just an intake after all right?

K&n intake, i heard CAI's won't make that much of a diff from just getting a k&n cone air filter

I am glad the SR doesnt really need a CAI, doesnt affect performance to not have one. Who wants to spend a 100 bucks on a piece of pipe.

I'm using a K&N cone filter. It helped out a lot in the high end areas. I don't see an intake taking two seconds off your quarter times.

I'm deciding on whether I want to order the AEM V2 or the HKS Super Mega Flow kit. Most likely the V2.

I have the HKS intake (mushroom one with the honey cone holes) u know the one on most every other car. Man I got is as a gift from my Girl but all it does is suck hot air. I did some home depot piping to it and when I placed the intake right on top of the radiator support on the left side of the car and made piping right up to the mass air flow meter. It made a big difference!! (Picked up a bit faster and the engine sounded as if it is breathing a gain!)

So what is the best? HKS Home depot cold air!! (free+$3.20) can't beat that with a stick!

no at the moment they dont make V2's for 240's but that doesnt mean i wont buy it and get it custom fitted haha

if its gonna be custom fitted then y dont you just make your own? better and cheaper than buying the v2 and chopping it up to make it fit. Hell my friend made his out of PVC pipe and a K&N filter and he said it works just fine for him.
