okay theres no way to say this without sounding sexist, so ill just go for it, and youll have to take my work that im not sexist. I know guys notice this(discussed it many a time) i just dont think that most of the female comidians(however you spell that its like 3 in the morning i donno) i hear are really not funny at all. I do think that most of the female stand ups who are famous are hilarious, but im talking about the like 1 in the morning comedy central presents stuff. Im not saying that none of the women are funny, and definately not saying that all of the guys are, but when i watch a lot of the women i just think how the hell did this person get their own show?!?! i was just wondering if the women out there feel the same way toward male comics, like is it just that i dont relate to women well enough to understand their jokes, since i am a guy, or are guys just better at stand up? just curious bout your opinion

It's true, women suck at stand up. I've talked to a lot of people, including women, who feel the same way. Can't really put my finger on it though, something about the delievery or attitude.

I'm not sure why we guys are any funnier except the fact that maybe we joke around more than our gals do? I have found that true throughout the ages..

it just seems a lot of the females are not as open to making fun of themselves as opposed to the a lot of the guys who dont give a crap...

Margaret Cho....the FUNNIEST female standup I have ever seen. Fell out of my chair cause I was laughing so hard. She beats most males. But I do agree with you guys, it seems males are better than females at standup (not sexist).

Kind of an exception to the rule. She is from Louisiana, is about 300lbs, and is a lesbian. But she can make anyone laugh til they cry. Even my husband, who doesn't even like watching comedians, said she was gonna be stupid and boring. He was in tears after about 10 minutes.

i dunno....The Queens of Comedy was pretty funny i thought, but yeah i could agree.......they do seem bitchy, even some of the ones on BET Comic View

Queens of COmeedy sucked!!! So did the Kings...well, not as bad but Robin Williams has my vote for the best. What beats Live On Broadway

for me most women comedians arent as good cuzz they just talk about being women..i get bored with hearing stereotpyical comedians..yes ur fat, yes ur a woman, yes ur black..we get the picture..try to talk about something else for once.
