I'm almost sure one of these two can work. You could go to your local Auto Sound/Security store and they can reprogram it. Or the Infiniti dealership might be able to do it.

What a bullshit that you can't do the programming! Who needs those darn stealerships!!!
First, make sure your P10 G20 has leather seats from factory. Only leathered seats P10s have factory security system and the remote.
Second, make sure you got the right remote. Here is the correct specs for P10 remote on back:
FCC ID: A269ZUA073
DOC CERT NO.:
DOC/MDC 700K922
Third, instructions:
1) Get into the car, locked all doors.
2) Pop the trunk
3) Slide the master key in and out of the ignition hole for 8times
4) Press the unlock/lock button on the remote
5) Press the unlock/lock button again to test if it works, if not repeat again.
That's all!

He is right my car is a 93.5 with cloth and the programming will not work. I found that I need to have a 93.5 or older with leather. My ebay remotes was useless for me ...

I must be doing something wrong, because these instructions did not work for me. I have a 94 G20t that did not have the keyless remote and purchased the ones with all the correct specs indicated by Adam. I am still trying to make them work. Any ideas?

Yup, it's true. I tried it but could not get it to work. So I took it to the dealer and low and behold the service writer was doing the same thing but SHE got it to work. It was also a free service.

I just tried it last night, it really is true!!! LOL!! Except he left out one small detail. After insterting and extracting the key from the ignition, you must then lock the doors from the inside of the vehicle using the lock/unlock button, then use the remote lock/unlock.

I read the instructions in this forum for the programming of the keyless entry. We tried it about 10 times and were unsuccessful. We called the Nissan dealer and the instructions he gave us worked on the first try!!
1) Get in the car, close the doors
2) Lock the doors using the automatic lock
3) Put the ignition key in/out of the ignition until the hazard lights flash (6 times for us)
4) Turn the key to acessory
5) Push the Lock button on the remote
6) Unlock/Lock the doors with the automatic lock*
7) Turn the key off
8) Open/close the doors.
We were programming 2 remotes at the same time, since the previous programming attempts "deprogrammed" the remote that did work, so if you are doing 2, after step # 6 you push the lock button on remote # 2 then continue to the end.
Hope this helps.

The numbers are the same for a couple years of the G20. Check my signature for the G20 remote:

I am havin probwlma programmin the remote. The serial number is about the same A269ZJA073.
I have tried the directions above and tried waiting for the hazard lights to appear on, but thats not working for me either. Ive probably tried both methods listed in this post about 20 times. I am at a loss and would love a little advice.
I dont know anything about the model of my car other than the basic g20 infiniti 1996. When I bought the car it didnt have a manual with it. Also i have factory leather seats.

Still having trouble???
I tried and this worked for me. I'm not completely sure how, as it worked somewhat differently as when I programmed it last time, but here's my advice:
1. Get into the car and close the door, unlocking the driver's side door.
2. Pop the trunk using the button on the driver's side door panel.
3. Lock the doors using the auto-lock (on the console by the windows).
4. Take the key in and key out rapidly ~20 times (for me, the warning lights did not flash, but it still worked.
5. Turn the key to the '2 ACC', or accessory position.
6. Push the lock button on the remote you are trying to program.
7. Unlock/lock the door with the auto-lock mentioned in step 3.
8. Turn the key off, and then remove it from the ignition.
9. Open/close the doors.
10. Test your remote.
11. If this doesn't work, try using the remote before opening the door.
12. If this still hasn't worked, try opening the hood, going on the passenger side of the car, and opening the into black box (with relay plugs/switches). Here, remove the 'Horn' plug and replace it before attempting to try again.
***It took me three attempts, so I don't know exactly how the process worked and/or if any of the steps made a significant difference, but these are definitely some things to try as I eventually had my device working properly.

Its always the SPEED of the key insert/remove process that seems to give people difficulty with the programming process.
If you are doing it slowly - try speeding up.
If you are doing it really fast - try slowing down.
Different Nissan/Infiniti vehicles seem to respond to different times for this part of the instructions, so just adjust your speed and you will be successful in getting the vehicle to respond.
