Is it possible to replace the standard A/C control module with a factory Climate Control module in a 2001 Buick LeSabre Custom? Will all the Climate Control features work with the standard A/C system?
I miss having Climate Control like I use to have in an old Cadillac Seville I owned.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide on this.

I just posted the same question. Did you ever find out anything about this? [email protected]

I never got any response to my inquiry. I ended up getting a 1998 Lincoln Town Car in December. I now have all the little extras that were missing in my LeSabre including automatic climate control.

It can't be done. The automatic system has several sensors that the manual system doesn't.

Yea, others have since told me that you "need to replace the whole dashboard" (or "it can't be done") to be able to install the digital control module if you wantto upgrade from the manual controls to the climate control system. It makes sense that at least some external sensors would be required to measure the cabin temperature.
