I got me a set of Mile Marker Premium Hubs as a raffle prize at ECXC, and I will be installing them and testing them this week. Stay tuned.

and i imagine the howto on the install of the warn manual hubs should be pretty much the same as for the mile marker ones.

seems to be about the same. just bought a set of snap ring pliers, as I heard T had a bitch of a time doing it with a screwdriver...
What grease should I use on these things? it says to grease em.
I will document, and create a how to on them.

Keep an eye on the nuts (not yours). The Warn ones will come off if you don't use locktight, or some other means of keeping them on. It might happen with your hubs too.

Read an interesting comparison of the 2 brands, the Warn has sorta pot metal as the lock plate backing, not brass all the way through, and the main body is made of aluminum. But they turn 330 degrees to lock, which is easier to engage.
The MM ones use a steel main body and the twist body is made of the same metal all the way through, think it's steel or aluminum. but twists 120 degrees to lock, and not as smooth a turn.
I will use the locktite, thanks for the tip. Gonna probably install them when I get home tonight... or maybe I will wash the truck, actually, the second idea is sounding like a plan. I need to get rid of all that dirrt.

Matt, use the blue Loctite. The hardest part of the install is getting off all the parts of the auto hubs ...

Installed them last night. Piece of cake. I took many photos to document the process. Will create a How To, the only thing I would have to say is GET A PAIR OF RING SPANNERS FIRST .
I bought a set and it saves your sanity hubs and fingers.
The only thing that slowed me down was some metal casting remnants in one of the boltholes, I drilled it out and everything was fine. They lock the same way as Warns. Will try them out on the trail this weekend most likely.

No, like I said, use BLUE LOCTITE . That would be the stuff you said you were going to put on the bolts and nuts.

Rocklights - I'm not I'm even going to use them, they are WAY to big to put under the truck somewhere safe where they won't get smashed.

should be interesting what the wife says about the tires, her first time driving it since the switch.
