Dropping an LS1 in an IROC?

Some "newbie" questions here. Ok how difficult/expensive is it to get an LS1 engine into an IROC? Is there a wiser choice for putting a new engine in? Would it be easier to just save up and get a newer Camaro? Thanks in advance. :)

The ls1 is probly one of the best choices of engine. it isnt too hard to do the swap. you need new mounts and such. you can find pretty much anything you need at fbodymotorsports.com

these guys did that swap, take a look at it and see if u can get an idea of what u need to do. they also have some critical parts needed for the swap for sale, stuff u can't find other places i think they are the only ones that sell them...
