I have searched around this site and have heard talk about a lock nut removal tool. I have not been able to find any details on this. Can someone please tell me what I need to remove my rotors. I need to have them resurfaced. Is there anything I can us to remove the locknut that I do not have to order? Thanks in advance for your assistance

Moved your thread, as the "How To" forum is for descriptions of "how to do" things, no requests. Hopefully your question will be answered here. Thx.

All this but the grease seal and actual re-pack, plus 6 bolts that hold the rotor to the wheel hub: http://www.rkrenn.com/xterra/howto/bearing/bearing.htm

A screwdriver or punch does fine to remove the locknut.

I just did the front wheel bearings on my 2WD and had questioned the use of the lock washer system on the front bearings. Now, I realize all they did was use the same system as the 4WD minus the splined shafts.
