I've taken notice of when I start my car up from being cold, Ill let it run and when I look at the back tailpipes their are two wet spots. I smelled the liquid and it dose'nt seem to be gas it only really happens when started from a cold start. Might it be condensation that builds up in the pipes and then it realeased when the exhaust pushes it out; or maybe something else? (1988 GT)
Thx for help.

where do you live? if you live in a humid place (like florida for me, which that sometimes happens) it is condensation...everything running fine otherwise?

Its perfectly normal. In fact its a good thing, telling you that your motor is running clean and normal.

some water on start up out the exhaust is fine .In fact once a year i have a iv bottle that i hook into a vac port and when the car is hot will allow a very slow stream into the engine . it cleans the carbon of the valves and tops of the pistons.
