i have a 2001 eclipse gt. it has a 3.0 6 cylinder. i was putting on headers and i damaged my after converter o2 sensor. i'm going to have to splice the wires cause i need to extend the length of the sensor. i was wondering if all odb2 (or mitisubishi) cars had the same sensor/readings as far as the o2 sensors are concerned. any info would be appriciated.

all o2 sensors are the same and read the same you just need to make sure you use one with the same amount of wires on it, that is if you are talking about a lambda sensor which screws in the exhaust.

sometimes these are called o2 sensors
you should be able to pick up a universal one from your local autostore they are available in 1,2,3,or 4 wire just buy one that matches yours and you will be sorted.
