My daytime running lights won't go out. I need to find out where the daytime running light module is located on the 97 Taurus. Help!

You need to replace the daytime running light module. There is an internal short that leaves the lights on. :sunglasse

OK. Got that. Now where is the damn thing. That's what I've been looking for!!! Is it under the left fender? What does it look like. I'm so tired of disconnecting my battery and I refuse to pay the dealer $200 to do it.

Tried that. lights still wouldn't go off. I couldn't understand how that's possible with the fuse pulled.

The module is located on the left hand side(drivers side) under the bumper apron, under the left side headlamp. It has one 8 mm bolt holding to the body. The metal retainer that hold the module may need to be removed and reinstalled to the new one. You don't need to take the bumper apron off, just look up uder. :sunglasse
