Head Gasket

The head gasket on my '91 mr2 is blown and I was planning on, as I have with all other work on this car, doing it myself. I was curious if anyone had a link to a website explaining the procedure on this car, and if with this tiny little mid-engine I would need to remove the entire engine or can do the work inside of the vehicle. Any information on this job would be greatly appreciated, anybody done it before?
It's sad, I love my car, and it doesn't love me...
