cloudy windows

does anybody know how to fix cloudy windows? my front windshield got some paint on it, and when i went to take it off, they became cloudy :/ any help would be fabuloso.

How did you try to take it off? If you used nail polish remover you may have just put some light scratches in it. Try rubbing toothpaste on it to minimize the scratches. If you used paint stripper it probably has melte the windshield. Be more specific please.

sorry haha, i accidentally grabbed the wrong bottle of nail polish remover (the one that had acetone in it). i had them sitting next to each other, non-acetone for plastics, and acetone for th metals. so....it got a touch of acetone on it. anyway to fix this?
