not for a house like that. that's a $400,000-$500,000 piece of preoperty right there. probably more. My parents bought our house (a modest raised ranch) for $27,000 in 1972, it was recently appraised for more than 10x that amount.

/\ Houses in AZ are grossly overpriced. For example I bought a new house in Anthem that is not built yet. The price for a base 2100 SQ.FT. model that we bought started at 185,000 with the upgrades our final came to 212,000 they are now sold down to the last few houses and the same house that was 185 is now 249,000 base. Its crazy but its good for me as I've made a profit and its not even built yet. Keep in mind this has happend with in a matter of months.

Grossly overpriced? You must be talking about London. A decently sized 2-bed apartment (which means a puny 800sq ft) in a good area is likely to set you back $600k+
I hope the market crashes so i can buy a flat :evillol:

Outer Banks of North Carolina.....3 bedroom/2 bath no pool 1 story 150 yards from the beach an easy $600g+ The prices have rose down there so rapidly in the past 3-5 years its just amazing. The one good thing is that taxes are very low because there are no schools/local govt. to support. Really a nice place to live, if you can afford the house, and the upkeep. Hurricanes are what'll get'cha

Yeah, it's like 29x29 ft - but it's 2bd 1ba, tiny but will be EASY to sell. We have oak cupboards and a tile shower and whatnot so it's not a total piece of crap.

It's not a mistake people... it's subliminal advertising. See, the people see the dogs gettin dirty, and the hopeful homeowners get this idea in their mind that it's the house that made the dogs get down. Smart real estate company. ;)
