I was on my way to work today and right after I'd started the car practically, (I was barely down the street) I turned a corner and put it in gear and when I stepped on the gas it just revved slow and quiet and wouldn't get any power hardly at all. I had to put my hazard lights on because I couldn't get past 20 miles an hour.

It kept doing that for the first 5 minutes of driving it seemed, and I couldn't get it to really accelerate right till I let the clutch out and revved it past 3500 rpm.

I know it needs a cataylitic converter, but that's it. I've read about similar symptoms in different threads. Anybody ever seen the solution to this though or know from experience?

Also check fuel pressure.
