hi folks -
just traded in my old '93 es300 for a 2002 rsx.. not the s-type, but the previous owner had it decked out (spoiler, interior panels, leather, etc.) got a great price on it - 16200 at 27000 miles. needless to say that after driving that old beast of a lexus for a while, it'll be nice to actually -feel- the road again.
anyway, after test driving the car, i fell in love with it. i had previously test driven a scion tc, and while i was impressed with the look of the car and thought the ride was quite nice (for the price), i was convinced by a few people that the dual wishbone suspension on the rsx would make quite a difference for my long drives to and from school at around 80mph. the scion also felt a tad more "cheaply" constructed - the car i test drove had a few misc. plastic interior parts broken off or bent.
it really is quite a car, and i'm thrilled with the purchase. just wanted to say, i wasn't really aware of the rsx before recently, but you guys are all on the right track.

I was actually surprised at how much I liked the TC's exterior styling when I first saw it. Seeing as how the original two Scion models are utterly hideous...
RSX was definitely the right choice, however. Congratulations.
