is it just my car, all of the sudden both my windows are miss aligned. comes down fine but when i try to get them back up it struggles then sometime it even stop at it tracks, when that happens i have to get out and give it a little push with my hands so that it will come back up. when it gets up its not align no more, theirs a major gap between the glass itself and the door, as if the window was not sitting right.
any idea's at all on how to fix it?

you got the same problem I do. The only true way to fix it is to remove the door panel and adjust the track.

Also, there is a screw of some kind right in the middle of the window track that may be loose. The screw may be beginning to strip, and not tightening all the way.

Sorry for reviving a fairly old thread, I just didn't want to start a whole new thread considering there's already far too many on the same topic.

I was just wondering if anyone knew a link to a diagram or even just instructions on taking apart the door panel? For some reason I always feel like when I take something apart, it either won't go back to part or will fall apart a week later :loser:

Thanks.

I haven't been on here for a while, so you may have fixed this already...but it may not be an alignment problem, your window tracks may just need lubricated. Both my front windows were starting to run slow and the motors sounded like they were straining. At the same time the windows were not closing straight and were whistling in the wind. I've only had time to fix the driver's door so far, but all I did was remove the door panel (with the window up), and use silicone spray with a tube nozzle to lubricate the window tracks. Totally fixed the problem. The left window closes straight now, and opens/closes about 4 inches faster than the right window -- and the motor doesn't strain anymore.
